Constrained by neighbouring houses on both sides, the site is a long, sloping, relatively narrow strip of land that broadens out towards the sea. The new house responds to this topography by arranging its communal and private areas as two distinct zones. All bedrooms are planned within an efficient rectangular block capturing the morning sun from the east, whereas all communal areas are placed in a triangle widening towards the spectacular views of the sea, the coastline and the summer sunsets.
